Four Die in Auto Train Collision at Ocean City

Armored Cruiser Oceanic Wrecked Off Scotland

The Oceanic, a White Star Line armored cruiser taken over by the British government, was wrecked yesterday off the north coast of Scotland and declared a total loss. Built in 1899 by Harland & Wolff, Belfast, she measured 685 feet and 17,274 tons gross, with a maiden New York arrival in 1899. Officers and crew were saved.
