Banks Agree to Loans on Stored Cotton in Georgia

Banks will loan on cotton stored in Farmers Union warehouses in Georgia, aggregating several million dollars, to hold cotton until prices reach 15 cents. Announcement made by RF Duckworth, former state president and national executive chairman, says agreement takes effect immediately. Banks will advance funds up to 13 cents per pound on stored cotton with ample security to support the holding movement.
