Bluebeard of Blydenberg Convicted for Wife Death
Des Moines Iowa October 26 Blydenberg Iowa's modern Bluebeard an actor teacher and philanthropist was convicted of murder in the death of his third wife by arsenic in a Sunday dinner. The supreme court today affirmed the sentence of life imprisonment. Blydenberg, a church deacon, had previously seen two other wives die mysteriously. he denied administering the poison and profited from their property.
