Obsession Theory Tested in Mrs Bradley Trial
Dr Utter described Mrs Bradley as under a powerful obsession or possession that compelled her to defend her children and threaten Brown. The expert said obsession is an external possession, not inside the mind, while witnesses noted her repeated pleas of love for Brown and lack of intent to injure. The court heard mental health testimony as the trial preparation continued with opening arguments by government and defense teams.
