Jury Findings in Blackmail Case Across High Stakes Debt

The jury answered four questions, finding no partnership by Charles Robinson or Mrs Robinson in the conspiracy to obtain money from a potentate, while confirming a conspiracy to expose the potentate and Mrs Robinson for blackmail. The verdict noted that two checks for 750000 dollars were part of the nonvoluntary payout and that forged checks were paid by Midland bank. Hobbs, acting as Robinsons attorney, withdrew funds under presumed authority, while the transfer of rights to the Robinsons remained unresolved. Justice Darling will decide that point.
