In absence of such officers, county or city medical society or reliable physicians' opinions may be used. Quarantine becomes effective until fumigation and return to origin.

Burnham and a conspiracy involving Thomas and others. Postmortem shows poisoning with strychnine. arrest warrants issued, hearings set, and further disclosures promised next week.
Ulster County centenarian known as old Aunt Sallie Pressler died at her son Isaac's Plattskill home on November 23 after a long, devout life. Born in Newburg Orange County to John Eanist, she married Anthony Pressler and built a family farm. Survived by multiple children and generations, she was active, industrious, and a devout Methodist, passing peacefully surrounded by kin.
