A vast night pageant drew a crowd estimated between 75,000 and 100,000 as marchers passed through congested streets Wednesday night. The fraternal order parade showcased a jubilant, orderly procession with spectators lining many blocks.
The morning parade ends with Mrs. Wesley Hirschburg winning first prize while Miss Anna Warren Clark of Moultrie takes second place in the festival’s beauty contest.
