Corn yields average 20.33 bushels per acre, down about 20 percent from 1880 due to drought and drought-related damage, especially in Ohio Mississippi valleys and the Chinese bog region. Wisconsin Minnesota up in places. Florida down 15 percent Alabama up 13 Tennessee down 12. Virginia not a cotton state.
