Dream of tramp ends in death of society girl in Gadsden
In Gadsden Alabama on November 22 Minnie J Stephens 17 daughter of John Stephens former Attala postmaster and social figure secured her father's pistol after dreaming a tramp had entered her home and killed her. While inspecting the weapon it discharged striking her in the abdomen and inflicting two wounds. Doctors say the wounds will prove fatal within days.

Hinman Killed on Clyde Liner Mohawk
The Jacksonville Times-Union business manager Hinman was shot to death aboard the Clyde Liner Mohawk. Once based in Atlanta, he became prominent in Jacksonville business and was a brother of Dr. Thomas P. Hinman and Dy. B.S. Hirman.
