Struck by Engine in Savannah Yard Causes Critical Injuries
Savannah Ga November 9 Special Daniel Sheehan a 4 seat clerk was knocked down by a shifting engine in the Seaboard Air Line yard west of the city today. He was crushed beneath the wheels with the right arm crushed to the shoulder and the right shoulder broken. The fingers on his left hand are cut off and he is badly bruised about the body. Internal injuries are suspected and amputation may be required.

First legal hanging in Douglas County ends with Amos execution
Douglasville Georgia November 9 Henry Amos was hanged at noon for the murder of Cain Jones in May. Thousands gathered as the first legal hanging in the county drew crowds from nearby areas.
