Wealth by Words Still Draws Few Authors Rich

A New York editor notes that most writers do not become wealthy from books alone yet many earn comfortable livings. Highlights include Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Robert W Chambers as high earners, with Holmes and Chambers cited for large sales.
