Macon Ga November 2 M M Lowrey cashier of the Americus National Bank of Americus Ga found guilty on three counts charging false entries by a federal court jury. He was sentenced to five years in the Atlanta federal penitentiary. The jury out nearly eight hours. Seven counts charged abstraction of funds and fourteen charged false entries. G D Wheatley assistant cashier has been missing since doors closed. Lowrey blamed Wheatley for the failure. A new trial motion will be heard in Savannah during vacation time. Judge Lambdin accepted a $10000 bond pending the motion.
