Italians to be brought south for farming in Georgia

Dr. Borziller and Rosolino Latona advocate moving Italian families from western New York to southern Georgia and Alabama to work fruit and vegetable farming, establish canneries and wine making, and create a self-sustaining Italian agricultural community that will draw in relatives and improve southern prosperity. The plan cites New York's Fredonia area as a model where Italians own farms, run vineyards, and build churches, promoting broader migration to depopulate crowded cities.
