When the last wall is hammered Georgia's dawn of wealth and purpose
A reflective sermonlike address celebrates Georgia's mountains, resources, and divine plan guiding the state's growth. It invokes Dahlonega gold, peach belts, ores, forests, and rivers as evidence of God's will in progress, urging all Georgians to act to reclaim and build. The speaker contrasts grand plans with humble deeds, stressing collective effort and faith.

Bribes Used to Draw Men From Church Debate
The northern Presbyterian general assembly in Des Moines receives a telegram from Greenville accusing the home board of aiding southern congregations. The northern body denies the charge and refuses to set a committee to investigate. A heated session over a book on forms and services is deferred after a lengthy debate. Dr. Johnston of Montreal provokes applause as he denounces priestcraft. Dr. Van Dyke notes two extreme views and cautions against naming the report. A Cumberland unionism suit in Decatur favors the unionists, with a possible appeal to the Illinois Supreme Court. The Indianola measure to dissolve the union is withdrawn amid sentiment against drastic action.
