Final dividend declared for Freedmen's Savings creditors
Washington May 15 The Commissioner of the Freedman s Savings and Trust Company declares a final dividend of seven percent to creditors totaling 62 percent and will begin payments to Washington depositors tomorrow. Depositors nationwide receive dividends by check on the U S Treasurer and passbooks, with rapid check returns. Those who forwarded books for former dividends after 1883 may get barred dividends plus pro rata balances as directed by law.
