Huricane Tears Through Jefferson City Causing Wide Destruction

A hurricane battered Jefferson City with 60 mph winds and heavy rainfall. Two Tailors in Fatal Stabbing at James Bank Building

An early evening stabbing occurred on the third floor of the James Bank building. Henry Spencer, a 14-year-old tailor, was arrested after officers found blood on his shirt and the victim, Henry Bryan, gravely wounded. Spencer claimed self defense after being assaulted, but Bryan’s condition remained serious as he was treated in his room at the Myrtle house.
