Police testimony links Quinlan to mill riot onset
Chief Bimson and several officers testified for the state. They heard Quinlan an hour before the riot and said more officers and citizens would be called to testify. The state seeks to show strikers disrupted mills after Quinlan spoke, while the defense plans an alibi. Quinlan’s contends he arrived as the riot began. Robison Furniture president Robison, recently released from Grady hospital, is now briefly able to be on the streets after two months of illness.
