Note Found In Bottle Alleges Death By Own Action

Woman killed as wagon struck by electric street car

Mrs W W Leadford of Powderly and her child were riding in a wagon when mules reared and threw occupants onto the track. The electric car from Birmingham to Eston failed to stop in time. Mrs Leadford was killed and the child injured, skull fractured.
