Aled Hi Colquitt died peacefully at 7 20 AM. Congress adopted a resolution of affection and esteem honoring Colquitt. Funeral services will be held in the Senate Chamber with touching words from colleagues and officials.

Mullins and Barnes are deemed de facto de jure officeholders while Martin Orr are censured for arming men and placing dynamite in city hall. H. H. Buchanan weds at night and kills himself in the morning in Columbia Alabama.
In Petersburg on March 26, a woman jailed for drugging and robbing Mrs. Spratley of Waverly gave the name Dr Anna Henderson before admitting her real name C A Carradice. She worked as a physician for twelve years in Jacke and has a brother Thomas Carradice on the police force. A Norfolk claim links a robbed ring to her. police found the ring on her and she says it was a gift from the Norfolk party.
William WN Billings of Atlanta Georgia was found at the Erie depot in Buffalo this morning acting wildly and throwing money away. He was taken into custody and a search uncovered morphine and cocaine capable of killing a regiment and a pair of hypodermic syringes.
Chicago banker Lazarus Silver mar, who halted payments last August with liabilities of 1.59 million dollars, resumes business as all assets are released from the assignee. He clears indebtedness in full with interest to all. The suspension stemmed from cash lack, not asset shortage, and caused global attention. The revival relies on collections aided by the First National Bank of Chicago.

Washington reports A W Gibson a longtime messenger in the house of representatives was found dead in his lodging house this morning. About sixty, a Macon Georgia citizen, his death appears caused by a laudanum overdose after long ill health. Representative Cabaniss arranged the remains to be sent to Macon for interment, with the coroner’s view that the death was accidental and no inquest will be held.
Hill Edwards, linked to a sensational assassination attempt on Jesse Merritt in Smyrna, Tennessee, was arrested near Granger, Texas after a reported chase by Sheriff R. B. White. Edwards, a prominent preacher, was to be held by Tennessee authorities as the case unfolded.
