The Romare home site on South Pryor Street near Mitchell and Trinity avenues is being cleared and prepared for several development proposals. A city market is favored, with potential 50 foot Whitehall Street access for an arcade linking Whitehall to Pryor Street, boosting location appeal and access to wholesale districts and freight terminals. Real estate owners M L Thrower aim to decide soon, with a ten year financing plan to cover building costs. Also listed were recent sales on North Avenue and Randolph Street, plus a public auction planned for April 27 on Howell Mill and DeFoor Ferry roads, and another on May 4 by J S Owens and Co.
