The Avenue Baptist Church dedicates a new Baraca team tonight at 7:30 with Dr Hudson of Syracuse NY presiding and Phil thea mexemen of America assisting. Sessions of Court Hear Appeals in Richmond and Asheville
An official order by Judge Goff directs that a session of the court of appeals be held in Richmond Virginia to hear cases from the northern and southern districts of West Virginia and eastern district of Virginia, and a session at Asheville North Carolina beginning May 2 to hear appeals from South Carolina and western districts of North Carolina and Virginia. Cases from Richmond are to be heard after those assigned for Asheville are argued and submitted.

Reverend W D Shea Dies After Long Ministry
The Rev W D Shea, ordained by the Georgia Conference in 1849 and active until superannuated in 1901, died at his home 23 Garnett Street after a short illness. He celebrated his 77th birthday on March 3 and is remembered for charity work, leadership in Georgia and Texas, and decades of pastoral service. The funeral is this afternoon at Trinity Church at 3 o clock with Rev J Wo Wakes and Dr G B Kar brow officiating. pallbearers include W L Peel and others. He leaves a son William Shea and a granddaughter Miss May Howard Bea.
