Crowds packed the Southern limited arrival at 8 65 o clock as Wall Street swarmed from the Him ball house to Markham street. Godfrey, 67, has played for European royalty and praised the American welcome. He spoke of a U S tour and recalled Boston’s 1872 Peace Jubilee with three band members who shared that event.
