The Wesley Memorial enterprises executive committee moved to build a dormitory for working women in Atlanta, near the Wesleyan Church and memorial hospital on Auburn Avenue. The project seeks 660000 total, with 26000 from church ladies and 20000 to be raised by them, under Mrs. Miller’s leadership and a women’s board of managers.

Boise June 21 The state closed its case in the Haywood murder trial after evidence including handwriting expert testimony linking money to Harry Orchard and a horse trader identification. Clarence Darrow represented the defense urging the judge to direct acquittal, arguing no credible evidence tied Haywood to the crime and noting Idaho law requires substantial supporting proof. The court recessed after the defense opening statement and first testimony was postponed to Monday.
