Atlanta Kiwanis Club Leaves for Cleveland Convention
Georgia delegation of 125 Kiwanis members departed Atlanta Saturday at 4 55 PM on a special Southern train to attend the fifth annual Kiwanis convention in Cleveland Ohio June 20 to 25 with the aim of securing the 1923 gathering for Atlanta. The train carried tracts buttons whistles and Coca Cola and Georgia melons and peaches to showcase Atlanta hospitality.

Macon Georgia June 18 Special Dr T D Ellis of Macon chairman of the committee on entertainment for the general conference of the Methodist Episcopal church south announced here today that the next quadrennial conference of the church will be held at Hot Springs Ark the first Wednesday in May 1922 The announcement followed bids from Hot Springs Chattanooga and Asheville The Hastman hotel in Hot Springs will be headquarters and the conference sessions will be in the city auditorium Delegates from the south will attend about 600 officials listed include Dr T D Ellis J Burwell N F A Carter W A Crow and John A Rice all of whom aided the selection.
