Nashville baseball franchise to be turned over to league
Nashville owner Dan McGugin said he would return the Nashville base ball franchise to league president W. H. Kavanaugh unless a reliable local group, preferably the Commercial Club, takes it over permanently. The club, already in debt about $30,000 after recent entanglements, cannot justify indefinite stewardship. If not retained locally, the franchise may go to Little Rock.
