Coxey's camp size grows as plans widen to stay

In Washington Coxey Browne and Jones were freed from jail and returned to the commonweal camp where leaders predict a longer stay into winter. Warehouse Collapses Under Heavy Wheat Load in Chattanooga

The large grain warehouse of J. T. Thomas son & Co. in Chattanooga collapsed after being heavily packed with wheat. About 6,000 bushels of grain were stored inside. the structure fell onto nearby railcars, destroyed the roof, and caused extensive damage estimated at around $10,000.
