Coxey expressed optimism about a congressional bid though unfamiliar with Massillon district facts.
The large grain warehouse of J. T. Thomas son & Co. in Chattanooga collapsed after being heavily packed with wheat. About 6,000 bushels of grain were stored inside. the structure fell onto nearby railcars, destroyed the roof, and caused extensive damage estimated at around $10,000.
