Two Macon Girls Die in Auto Hit by Central Train
In Macon Georgia on June 7 Miss Mary Pearson, a prominent society girl, died from injuries after a car she drove was struck by a Central of Georgia passenger train near Holingbroke. Miss Alice Wrigley, also prominent, was killed instantly. The incident occurred about 11 am. the car was carried 200 yards along the track. The train slowed but could not avoid the collision. the car was a total wreck. Both victims were well known in Atlanta society circles.

Zeppelin Destroyed in Flight by British Aviator Warneford
