Preachers Roughly Attacked by Saloon Backers in Frontenac

Two temperance activists Rev Miu Primrose and Rev A F Berketresser were released from jail after arrest on liquor selling charges. They were attacked by about twenty saloon sympathizers while boarding an electric car to leave Frontenac Kansas. Berketresser had previously trailed a local patron to expose saloon activity, and both ministers claim trumped up charges were used for retaliation.
