Georgia Rail Fares Drop With Zone Based Rates

Georgia railroad commission plans zone based passenger fares with a basic 2 1/2 cent per mile rate and two cent rates beyond 200 miles for major lines. Short lines will see 3 to 6 cent classes, affecting lines like Atlanta and West Point, Central of Georgia, and Georgia Northern. The new schedule targets larger systems first and extends to smaller routes with class distinctions.

Fred Bush Not Guilty in Dyn bombing Case Verdict
