Coffee futures slip as lite selling hits New York trade
New York July 27 coffee futures opened steady and closed lower by about 10 to 20 points amid scattered liquidation and weaker European cables. Sales totalled 26 000 bags with Havre at a franc lower and Santos unchanged. Receipts at Rio and Santos port totals were reported, while futures for January through December showed a cautious downward tilt and spot Rio coffee pricing noted.
