John Sumbraska, a Polish mill striker at Fulton Bag and Cotton Mills, had his right leg crushed by a switch engine in the Southern yards last night around 9. He was found beside the tracks by yard man West and rushed to Atlanta hospital in the H M Patterson ambulance.

Two hundred Sheppard family members, many from five miles east of Decatur, gathered Wednesday at J. L. Lee's home near Decatur for a basket dinner and songs. Rev. J. S. Suvay of Clarkston and R. F. Smith of DeKalb spoke as officers of a newly formed Sheppard Reunion Association were named: Il Sheppard president, R. M. Sheppard vice president, J. L. Lee secretary.
