Scheme Not Practical Independent Plan For Haberdashers
A proposed cooperative association for haberdashers and furnishing goodsmen in the south draws strong opposition from Atlanta merchants. George R. Law and others say the plan is impracticable, arguing independence yields better buy options and that savings would not offset losses in other areas. No Atlanta haberdashers are expected to attend the New York meeting set for July 25.
