Peter F Bahnsen, Georgia state veterinarian, rebuts A L Suttles and W H White Jr in a lengthy letter to The Constitution. He asserts no truth in their attack on tick eradication, notes past meetings with Atlanta Chamber officials, and reiterates that interstate cattle movement hampers eradication efforts. Bahnsen calls for tick-free cattle movement and accuses opponents of pursuing personal gain over public welfare.
