Woman posing as senator wife arrested for jewel thefts
Isabella Loomis of New West 10th street, posing as United States Senator Benjamin Tillman's wife, was arrested by Lieutenant Andrew Nugent after attempting to obtain high value jewelry from Maiden Lane stores and having it sent to hotels. She appeared agitated at the Tombs court and was held as a suspicious person. Police investigate possible mental disorder while noting her refined appearance and social family background.

Specials- Engineer Ace Aikin of Atlanta died after a passenger train forced into the freight engine on a switch left unlocked at Neal Ga. The collision threw the engineer from the engine and he died within thirty minutes. Passengers were shaken but unharmed. Aikin leaves a wife and several children. He would have been thirty seven tomorrow.
