Agriculture Dept Probe Is Stopped
Senator Brown alleged misconduct in the agriculture department charging misused funds and unregistered fertilizer sales. He cited $38,000 yearly bureau spending, a $6,000 commission from an auto tag deal, and missing gravity signs in gas stations. The remarks drew lines between the department farm bureau and a broader state oversight.
