Exceptional as all our former sales of Muslin Underwear have been, these garments offered at 43c to 98c are the newest, dainty, well made and trimmed with laces and embroideries. Two assortments feature nightgowns, corset covers, chemise and drawers in Nainsook Cambric maslin with generous proportions and tasteful trimmings.
Twenty pieces of silk arrive in three sizes small medium and large in superior taffeta with brown navy and black and white combinations. Suitable for whole suits and skirts with white waists. Priced at the yard now with more shipments to follow. Also soft Louisine and taffeta blocks checks and stripes in new browns blues reds greens grays heliotrope and pink.
Late in arriving Danish cloth is here in navy and red, plus browns and creams, with twenty cream pieces. Demand is high for this half wool, 36 inch fabric suited for seaside and travel. Washable and colorfast, it suits outing wear and bathing suits, with novelty mixes and Panama weaves also in stock at about 50 cents per yard.
Handsome lingerie style dresses in lawn, chiffon and batiste with Swiss embroideries and Valenciennes lace. Twenty pieces priced from 50 to 15 dollars, now half price. New silk dresses at 25 in Louisine and Swiss taffeta with lace and velvet trims, including a Grecian velvet finished skirt at 75 dollars.
The advertisement promotes new plain tailored waists in mercerized white Madras. Styles include tucked and pleated designs with long sleeves and opening fronts. Priced at $1.50 each, highlighting an assortment described as superb with many fashionable effects rarely seen.
