Saloon Victims to Grand Jury Referred After Court Rulings
Montgomery July 1907 special session rulings affect liquor law cases. The motion to vacate the order sending thirty nine saloon men to the grand jury has been withdrawn. Judge Gaston previously called for a trial by jury, but the Supreme Court holds these cases under a separate act are not in the same relation as general prohibition statutes. The recall of the state petition to vacate is dropped, cases to grand jury soon.
