Grand jury probes vice limits and Georgia crop policy
The May term grand jury urged abolishing nedrooms and stricter vagrancy law enforcement while seeking censorship of sensational crime headlines. They called for a California style murder report ban, urged Georgia agriculture growth through corn clubs, and backed a calf slaughter prohibition to protect young cattle for local feeders. The probe into vice conditions yielded little, and recommendations stressed home farming and cattle improvement.
