A former assistant cashier at a Lithonia bank was arrested Thursday morning when a raid by Inspector Allen’s federal squad seized imported Spanish morphine valued at 3060 dollars from his apartment at 41 Hast Merritte Avenue. Bond, who said he bought the morphine in New York for his own use and to shield himself from other dealers, was bound over to the federal grand jury on a Harrigan anti narcotic act charge with 1000 dollars bail.
