Not Chinnese Seaports in Manchuria Trade Debate
The text argues that the so called ports Mukden and Antung in Manchuria are not true seaports. Mukden is an inland city about 250 miles from navigable water, reachable by the Siberian Railway. Antung, though nearer deep water, sits at the river end with 18 miles of rapid, shallow, dangerous rapids and can only accommodate small vessels.
