Atlanta youth Nathan Gordon found dead in hotel room
Nathan A Gordon a deaf and mute itinerant printer from a prominent Atlanta family was found dead Friday night in a Williams hotel room. A vial of carbolic acid and a will were found near his body along with letters including a note to a girl friend and a letter to “Kismet” signing off as the Great Proofreader. The deceased, about 20, had recently lived with his uncle J N Hirsch and left a note naming undertakers and executor James Mayson. His father Louis Gordon killed himself five years earlier.
