The J M High and Co announces a stock taking clearance starting tomorrow with heavy discounts. Plaid Flannelettes drop to 6 1/2 cents per yard, French Ginghams to 7 1/2 cents, American Figured Lateens to 7 1/2 cents, Figured Duck Suitings to 6 1/2 cents. Unbleached Cotton Flannel offered at 5 cents, 3 000 yards of Wamsutta 4 4 domestics at 7 1/2 cents.
Slated stock includes 67 pairs of large white wool blankets at 3.00 per pair due to soil, 45 pairs White California Mills blankets now at 5.00, valued 9.00, plus All Linen Huck Towels double discount. White Dimity yardage offered at 12c, Gents undergarments and handkerchiefs and gloves also at half price.
A local retailer offers various shoe reductions to clear inventory. Ladies French Kid Button Boots cut to 2.50 from 4.00 with irregular sizes. Boys Spring Heel School Shoes down to 1.50 from 2.50. Men’s Calf Boots and styles at 1.50 from 2.50. Ten’s hard-sewed Calf Bats and Congress at 3.00 from 5.00.
In withdrawing from J. M. High & Co., I express thanks for kindnesses from the firm, employer and patrons. Mr. W. M. Jordan assists in management as we offer cut prices on a full stock of Cute Glass, Bric-a-Brac, Art Pottery, China, Glass and house furnishings. All goods sold at cost or near cost with extensive discounts on lamps, wool goods, and ladies furnishings. Prices claim to beat Atlanta New York or Chicago.

High & Co offers gold edge decorated plates at 10c each or 1.78 per dozen, 75 dozen table tumblers at 25c per dozen, 700 sets of silver plated spoons at 10c per set, and glass salad bowls priced 10 to 40c. Items limited to Monday between 9 and 12, quantities sold per customer.
Out of town buyers in Atlanta area face paid express or freight charges on all purchases of twenty dollars or more. Packing will be free. The policy applies to deliveries within a hundred mile radius from Atlanta.
