The East Point Matrons Bridge Club met at 210 Church Street with Mrs A T Spalding as host. Prize went to Mrs Harold Brotherton. Members present included Mrs J C McKenzie Mrs Eo A Wilson Mrs J E McMillan Mrs Wayne Moore Mrs SR ONeal and Mrs 5 1 Brown. The East Point Home and School Club plans a Tuesday meeting at 3 PM in the school building with a Terryd program and refreshments. Mrs Joserit Hubbard, president, urges all interested in better schools to attend. At the Selecta Theater talented little artists entertained friends Saturday morning at 7 PM with a comedy and program by local children including Edwin Harling Donna Stone Maxine Hiles Sue Wyatt and others led by the Young Matrons committee of Ponce de Leon Avenue Baptist Church. The Women’s Auxiliary to the Railway Mail Clerks association enjoyed a holiday party at Mr and Mrs Michal Morris on North Jackson Street Wednesday evening with decorated rooms.
