Augovuta Ga January 7. It became publicly known for the first time that the president elect is not flat foot. Dr Anson G Cook orthopedic expert from Hartford Conn traced the tale to Taft during the campaign. A Connecticut friend claimed an orthopedist in his town doubted Taft would stand the weight and declared Taft was flat foot due to strained tendons. Dr Cook fashioned casts and would deliver a special pair of shoes but Taft’s feet are now said to be perfect. The alleged defect involved the heel thrown forward to balance weight distribution.
