Bolshevik Move Could Endanger Romania Front
Paris January 4 report says six new Russian Bolshevik divisions concentrate on the Bessarabia frontier and along the Dniester as Moscow prepares an attack to regain Bessarabia. Romanian legation in Paris notes no confirmation of mobilizations or royal decree. Rumanians say not at war with Russia, but acknowledge renewed notes with Moscow may prompt a seizure of Bessarabia to pressure a trade accord with England.
