Augusta Social World Shines in German Dance Events
A newly successful New Year german at Walker's drew many Augusta figures. The night featured Mrs Louis Schley as chaperone and Paul Sledge Jr leading the dance from 11 to 2 thirty. Cards, dinners, and social gatherings followed with gardens, holly, and festive decoration across several houses, including a large wedding at St Pauls Episcopal and a farewell dinner for Mr Becket in Memphis.
