State to Take Big Insurance for Georgia Public Property
Georgia codes and companies that paid Soldiers' Home insurance will share in a new state plan. The schedule sets total insured value at about 10.8 million with five year terms and premiums of 24,773.62 yearly for three years’ coverage, plus lightning protection and a distribution to Adjutant General Robertson and the two Georgia insurers. The plan covers Milledgeville sanitarium, the state library, schools, the executive mansion, Camp Northen, and other state properties. Advertising is cited as essential for funding the program.
