Bowen Shot by Edmondson in Journal Building Incident
Rolfe Edmondson, a 20 year old The Journal reporter and civilian officer, is under arrest after Bowen C J Bowen 20, son of the city building inspector, was shot during a scuffle at 99 McAfee street. Bowen is seriously wounded with a .385 caliber bullet. Edmondson says he acted to keep the peace and that the shooting was accidental.

Infant Death for Waters Family at 23 North Moore Street
The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Waters died Thursday at home. He is survived by his parents. W. C. Ezzell, 68, died at his daughter’s home on Lakewood Drive Friday and will be sent to Rome, Georgia. He is survived by one other daughter, Mrs. A. E. Paris.
