The board of education decided to postpone consideration of introducing a military training course in Atlanta public schools. Opponents from the Georgia Peace Society and Atlanta Federation of Trades urged delay, with others preparing objections and seeking a chance to speak before final action. Meanwhile, a new credit system for teacher admission was approved, and several faculty vacancies were filled at Boys High and Commercial High. Mrs. W C Jarnigan received permission to involve students in a Shakespeare Pageant.
