Paul Lindsay defends the National Rural Letter Carriers Association against critics. He argues the group boosts efficiency, cooperation with the Post Office, and benefits for patrons, while noting dues would be affordable if all 40,000 carriers joined. He recounts improved pay and conditions since 1902 and invites nonmembers to join, praising the association’s papers and support.
